How long does the session last?

Your newborn session will usually last between 2 and 3 hours. The exact length will depend on how calm your baby is, but most sessions are completed within about 2 hours.

How does booking and preparation work?

It’s best to book your session around your 20-week scan to secure a spot. Once I receive your deposit, your reservation is confirmed. We’ll schedule your session based on your expected due date. After your baby is born, I ask that you contact me within 48 hours, and depending on the health of you and your baby, we will finalize the date for the session.

During this time, I’ll provide you with detailed guidance on what to expect, including clothing choices and how to prepare for the newborn session. You don’t need to bring much, as I will share information in advance about essential items. If you have a special heirloom or sentimental item you’d like to include, feel free to bring it along. I offer a beautiful selection of knitted outfits, wraps, and blankets, so you can leave your own things at home. I also provide diapers, wipes, and of course, delicious snacks and drinks to make your experience as comfortable as possible.

Can siblings and parents be photographed?

Sure! I love capturing moments with parents and siblings, and these photos often become some of my favorites. There are no additional costs for including family members in the session. If grandparents want to join, they are more than welcome, but please note that an extra charge will be applied per person.

When will I receive my photos and can I purchase extras?

Once your photo session is complete, I will carefully select and edit the most beautiful images from the shoot. All selected photos will be edited in both color and black and white. Within three weeks after the session, you will receive a link to your personal, password-protected gallery where you can view all the photos and choose your favorites. After you’ve made your selection, you will receive your final gallery within two weeks.
